A Little Companion. A Greater Purpose.
The idea for BiblePals didn't begin with Joshua and Germaine wanting to create just another children's product.
For Joshua, it began with his own childhood.
Growing up through a difficult childhood showed Joshua just how important it is for a child to know God from a young age — to have something to turn to, something to hold onto, and most importantly, to know that God is there.
It made Joshua and Germaine think about how quickly childhood passes.
A child can be five years old today, and before you know it, they're ten, fifteen, and then grown.
And they started asking themselves:
What if they could plant an avenue for God to speak to a child while they're young — something that could stay with them as they grow?
So they prayed. They asked God for direction and wisdom to know what He wanted them to create.
And little by little, He guided them towards BiblePals.
They wanted to create a little companion that a child could grow up with — something they could hug at bedtime, carry around during the day, and eventually change into different shirts carrying different pieces of Scripture.
Not because the plush itself is what matters most.
But because of what it can point them towards.
God. His Word. And the voice of the Shepherd calling His children closer to Him.
Their hope is that BiblePals can simply be an avenue — a small, tangible way for God to speak into a child's life, plant His Word in their heart, and continue speaking to them through different seasons as they grow.
Jesus says:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
— John 10:27
We are all like lost sheep, and that is what makes this picture so meaningful to us. We can easily lose our way, but Jesus is our faithful Shepherd. He knows us, loves us, and calls us back to Him.
Our Lost Sheep is a small reminder of that beautiful truth.
Through our interchangeable shirts, we also wanted to make God’s Word tangible — something children can see, hold, and encounter in their everyday lives.
“And that from childhood thou hast known the holy scriptures...”
— 2 Timothy 3:15
A child may not fully understand a verse today. But one day, when they are older, God may use those very words to speak to them, comfort them, strengthen them, or remind them of who He is.
A seed planted in childhood can grow far beyond childhood.
This is what means the most to us.
A verse planted in a child's heart today may become words God uses to speak to them years later.
It may comfort them when they’re hurting, strengthen them when they’re afraid, or remind them of God when they need Him most.
We may never know where every seed will grow.
But we believe it is worth planting.
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void...”

At BiblePals, we anchor everything we do in Scripture, because we believe the Word of God is not simply a collection of words — the Word is God.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
— John 1:1
God’s Word is at the foundation of BiblePals.
The sheep points us to Jesus, our Shepherd.
The Scripture reminds us of God’s truth.
And the anchor represents what we choose to build everything upon:
God and His Word.
Our prayer is that through every BiblePal and every verse it carries, children would not simply learn Scripture, but grow to know the God who speaks through it — and carry His Word with them throughout their lives.
